Deeper in Depression

I think all of us feel that at some point in our lives. I am no expert but, perhaps the difference is, some feel way too often and way too deeper. Depression is a traitor, it demands to be felt, to be experienced. The hard part is, you can’t switch it off, or you can’t pep talk it “wait 'til we get home”. It will show up uninvited, it will tap you in the middle of a slow and passionate kiss with your true love, it’s gnawing the corner of your mask to reveal the void you carry every day. It can be anyone, yes. That’s why we all need to be kind. We need to be there for each other.
